My Dear Sonali

 Heya, guys, it's Charlotte :)
In the picture above, was Sonali's awful and frizzy hair. I had trimmed off a bit of the ends before, but it hadn't done much, so I did what I did to Taryn's hair yesterday, and it turned out beautifully.

 It's sooo much easier to brush, and style. I think for a while, I was neglecting Sonali because of her awful frizzy ends. But, she's a beautiful doll, and now I'm really happy with her hair :)
here are a few pictures of after I trimmed the ends! It's a bit shorter now, but I like it!

You may not know it, but Sonali is the brains behind all the art:
-she did the drawings for Kit's novel,
-took all the pictures for fashion with bridge
-and in fact, designed this whole blog!

have you ever had troubles with long haired dolls?

New Hair!

Hey guys! It's Charlotte.
I went to the mall today {I know, weird for me}, mainly because my brother was in EB Games, so I went into ardene's and bought these hair extensions, thinking I would use them. I tried them on, but they looked really fake, and sticky outy, and I didn't like them. So I tried them on Aisha, and it looks amazing! I had to trim them a lot, but they're exactly the right temperature. I think I'll do this for Sonali too, and maybe some of my other dolls? I dunno, but they're 5 for $10! yay!
Also, I trimmed my dear Taryn's hair! I've cut it before, because the ends were frizzy, but this time I did it to thin out the ends, kind of like layering {I want to be a hair dresser when I grow up... gotta start somewhere!}. What I did was cut vertically instead of horizontally, so I didn't take any length off, but I made it lighter on the ends and easier to brush! If you haven't cut your doll's hair before and you're planning to, you should probably ask an adult to help you, so you don't make any mistakes.

what's your favourite thing to do with your doll's hair?

Review--LJC Spring Line {so far}

Hello everyone! It's Chrissa.
As many of you may know, Liberty Jane recently revealed two new outfits from their spring line!
I'm super excited! {we've never purchased from LJC before, but are hoping to in the future and we LOVE using their patterns!}

So. The first outfit in the LJC Spring Line for 2011 is...
Salina!
{watch the video for pictures}
Isn't that amazing? I wish we could afford to bid on ebay, but the prices just get so high :(
The pattern of the dress is so simple but perfect, and the style of it gives it a laid back feel but makes Kanani look fantastic! I think the necklace is a nice simple accessory, and the white sandals set off the flowers in the dress. Over all, I think this outfit is fantastic and would definitely buy it if we had the money!

And the second is
Sorrento!
{watch the video for pictures}
I absolutely adore the neckline of that shirt! I love the blue/black color combo. I think the jean shorts give the outfit a sweet summer edge to it, while the black flats bring you back to the style of the shirt. This outfit would probably be best described as slightly dressed up, but still quite casual. I think that's what LJC might be aiming for with their new spring line- am I right?

I'm super excited to see the other new outfits!
Which one is your favourite?

Update on Spring Updates!

Hey everyone!
As you may know, Chrissa was going to help Maizee-Liss with her mischief posts.
We now realize Maizee-Liss is fully capable of doing these posts alone. Erhm. And that being a secret government agent doesn't really qualify as mischief, so we have appointed Chrissa the role of writing...
reviews!
These reviews will be on, really anything. From ag outfits, to Liberty Jane, to books, to movies, to posts written by other bloggers... {only positive things about the latter!}
We hope you'll be looking forward to these new posts!
